Searching for Artefacts

It was a sunny afternoon when our Social Studies teacher, Miss Tan came in. She brought in some boxes. There were different artefacts in each box. Before we start, Miss Tan gave us some plastic gloves and a little smelly garbage bag. We started our search for artefacts. While searching, Miss Tan gave us a paper that state "Site 1" and told us to put it under the box. We found some circle things and a marble. After we finished, Miss Tan told us to go to site 2, which was very very dirty. I searched and saw something shiny! However, it was only a blue bug toy. I was quite disappointed because I thought it was another treasure.  After all that fun, we packed up and cleaned up and got ready to go home. We learnt that we need a lot of teamwork and patience.  Braxton and Rayven

Shariq volunteers to help students in Cyber Safe Challenge

As part of Safer Internet Day 2024, the Cyber Safe Challenge was held at the Arena. Originally, only monitors or Peer Support Leaders were tasked to control the recess activity. However, someone -- who is not a monitor or PSL -- volunteered to control it.  Shariq was caught in action controlling the queue to the "vending machines". Shariq, other than controlling the queue, was able to stop Dayshaun from 4S, from his outburst of impatience using the "Breathe 5" technique. All of his kind actions have been uploaded on the social media platform by Mdm Joan Lao.  Good job, Shariq! Shariq instructing Dayshaun to take deep breaths. Shariq controlling the crowd at the Arena.
